Airport Express USB setup with Zing Air

I was curious with the Zing air, the USB setup requires the serial port connection. Has anyone attempted or is it theoretically possible to setup the unit on an apple airport express USB port (commonly used for printers)?

This would allow a network level access to the machine vs bluetooth or usb wired connection.

Hi Gabe,

I’m not quite sure if that would work or not. I’ve not tried it and I don’t have an apple airport setup to try. If you do, it might be worth experimenting with. The first sign of possible success would be if the MTC COM Bridge will open without throwing any errors (not seeing the cutter). I’d be very interested in finding out your results, if you do decide to give it a whirl!
