I’ve had a KNK Maxx Air for about a year now and have used it to cut chipboard and vinyl sticker paper, but not anything like thick plastic. Has anyone tried cutting something similar to a 2mm PVC or vinyl record, and if so, which blade did you use and what was the outcome?

    Hi James,

I’m not sure how well 2mm vinyl would work. It may cut if it is a soft material. Typically, craft foam is the limit for 2mm thick product. Anything much denser than that will stop the blade from spinning correctly, causing it to break.

If you wanted to give it a go, you’d want to use the thick material (blue cap) blade.
