    Hi,

The pinch wheels on my Maxx air have gotten rather tough or “stubborn” (for a lack of a better word) when I move them up and down – is there any way you can grease them to make them a bit smoother?

    Cheers

I assume you’re referring to sliding them along the rail versus issues with the levers moving up/down?  If so, then  you can apply something, such as WD40, to a paper towel or a soft cloth and then rub down the rail in the back so that the pinch wheel assemblies will then slide more easily.   Do not spray the adhesive directly onto the rail.

    Hi Sandy,

I actually mean moving them up and down, not sliding them along. They seem to be really stiff atm! Just wondering if there’s anything I can do to make them a bit smoother?

    Cheers

Since the Maxx Air’s pinch wheels are all individual and not connected to one another, are some easier than others to raise and lower or do they all feel about the same?

Hi, Sorry for my late reply.

The pinch wheels are all equally stubborn, but they’ve also been used equally much as well.
