I got my machine in October last year as a gift from my fiancé because I had lost three family members in March.  It was bought because I had went into deep depression. At first I loved it because I was out of the bed again.  Took forever to figure out , but honestly compared to cuts I see from other cutters mine doesn’t compare at all. I wish I had gone with them. I go over the check list completely and still my cuts either tear or don’t cut through. I decrease blade and it doesn’t cut through I increase blade or force then the media tears at the corner.

    • Here’s some photos maybe y’all can help. But I’m seriously thinking about selling it. I’ve been through 6 sheets on just test cuts. What’s the point in having a machine that you littered don’t get any projects done? I am using brand new blades I just purchased thinking that was the problem. DC54242B-A28C-445A-9D35-C0CDE212414209040CE2-E778-4307-867C-2AC06804486549D7A947-107A-4A82-843F-2C48B1B6ADEE3716189C-5FC1-4F9B-8C94-1DF144237073A5D2D1E6-CFC8-4553-8237-9D0E9003A5EA58D8AF3C-81B9-46AC-82B8-DB067066BF5E

1711FB1B-F402-4D5B-806E-ABA898C09648These are just part of the 6 sheets I’ve used for test cuts. I have my flow sheet in front of me. I’ve decreased blades, speed, force then I increased blades, force. New blades and new mat. Nothing works. And yes I submitted a ticket but nothing.

In my opinion, it’s the blade holder/blade combo. I’ve found that if you add some lubricant to the blade holder it will help the blade swivel properly in the event the blade might be a tiny bit off spec.  Try this:  https://www.iloveknk.com/Support/Tutorials/Klic-N-Kut/Zing-Orbit/Lubricating-KNK-Blade-Holder.pdf

I oiled it and tried again all morning and it’s still messing up. However, I did find an earlier post from someone who had about the same type cuts from her machine and she bought a new blade holder and blade and it seemed to improve her cuts. I am ordering those today so hopefully that fixes the issues. I went through so much to learn this machine it truly does make me feel ill to think of selling it. LOL.

If you have the exact same issue, then please start a support ticket with KNK USA and post the ticket number here.  I’ll make sure you get this addressed right away.  Also, I’m sorry for the loss you experienced in your family. That must have been extremely difficult and my heart goes out to you.

Thank you! I think I already have a ticket open. I believe you replied to me it’s how I knew to oil the blade holder. Yes. It’s 17381. I just bought these blades and received them on May 6th hoping that would fix it.

Oh sorry! I answer customers all over the place and my short term memory is the pits.   You can reply to the same ticket after getting your new blade holder, if needed, or start a new one. Either will work.  🙂
